Delete Your Account

The fastest way to delete your BlushQuest account and data is right inside the app. You can also request deletion by email — we process every verified email request within 30 days.
1. Delete in the app (fastest)
Open the BlushQuest app and go to Profile → Delete account, then confirm. Because you are already signed in, this takes effect immediately: your account and data are permanently deleted, any active couple is dissolved (your partner is notified), and you are signed out. No email verification is needed.
2. Or request deletion by email
If you can't access the app, send us an email from the address you use to sign in. The button below opens your email client with a pre-filled request — review it, fill in the line marked [PLEASE FILL IN THE EMAIL YOU USE TO SIGN IN], and send.
If the button doesn't work, send a message manually to dpo@blushquest.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request — BlushQuest".

Hi BlushQuest team, I'd like to delete my BlushQuest account. - Email on my account: [PLEASE FILL IN THE EMAIL YOU USE TO SIGN IN] - I understand my data will be removed from active systems within 30 days - I understand my couple relationship (if any) will be dissolved and my partner will lose access to the subscription - I understand I need to cancel my Apple App Store or Google Play subscription separately Thank you.
We'll send a confirmation link to the email on your account. Click the link to verify the request — this prevents anyone else from deleting your account.
3. What gets deleted
Once your verified deletion request is processed, the following are removed from our active systems:
- Your account: email, name, gender, and date of birth.
- Your wish cards and quest history: all wish-card content you authored and your quest progress, badges, and completion records.
- Your couple relationshipand, if you were the subscribing partner, your partner's access through your subscription.
- Your push notification subscriptions: device push tokens and OneSignal subscription records.
- Your in-app preferences and settings.
4. What is kept (and for how long)
After active-system deletion, limited residual copies remain only for the windows described below. This matches Section 9.1 of our Privacy Policy.
- Database backups: retained for 14 days on a rolling basis, after which they are overwritten. Your data may persist in backups for up to 14 days after deletion.
- Long-term archive: in narrow cases (legal holds, fraud-prevention records, dispute-resolution evidence), some data may persist for up to 1 year, after which it is permanently destroyed.
- Aggregated, anonymized analytics that cannot be linked back to you may be retained indefinitely.
5. What you should do before deleting
These three steps will save you from unexpected charges and lost data:
- Cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play settings. Account deletion does not automatically cancel your subscription — you will keep being billed until you cancel through the store. Use the path that matches your device:
- iOS (Apple): Open Settings → tap your Apple ID at the top → Subscriptions → select BlushQuest → Cancel Subscription.
- Android (Google Play): Open the Google Play Store app → tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → select BlushQuest → Cancel subscription.
- Export or screenshot anything you want to keep.If there is a wish card or quest milestone you'd like to remember, save it now — it cannot be recovered after deletion.
- Let your partner knowthe couple will be dissolved (if applicable), so they aren't surprised when their shared access disappears.
6. Timeline (email requests)
- You send the email.
- We send a confirmation link to your email (within 1 business day).
- You click the link to verify the request.
- We process the deletion within 30 days of verification — usually much faster.
- We send a final confirmation email when complete.
7. Questions or didn't get the confirmation?
If you don't receive the confirmation link within 2 business days, check your spam folder and then email us directly at dpo@blushquest.com.
